CAMANA BAY

Camana Bay is a lively waterfront town offering plenty of entertainment options featuring restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, shops, and a movie theatre. Take the time to visit the 75-foot tall observation tower to enjoy beautiful views across the north sound and ocean. Kids love to splash in the various fountain playgrounds. It’s also home to international businesses and schools, and residents of the condos overlooking the harbour. Every Wednesday, there is a weekly farmers and artisans market. Boat tours set sail from the docks, and there’s even a heli-pad.

Cayman Islands National Museum GEORGE TOWN

The Cayman Islands National Museum was established in 1979 to collect, preserve and exhibit the cultural, natural and art history of the Cayman Islands. Situated on the waterfront of Cayman’s capital, George Town, the building housing the National Museum dates back to the early 1800s. The Museum hosts two permanent exhibition galleries and three changing exhibition galleries. The Cayman Islands Museum is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays, all year round (except bank holidays). The first Monday of every month is free for Cayman residents.

SEVEN MILE BEACH

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine walking along a stretch of powdery, white sand fringed with clear, aquamarine blue water, lapping gently against the shore. Feel the warmth of the setting sun that paints the sky with shades of blue, pink, and gold. What’s terrific about this idyllic scene is that it’s real. Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach offers visitors a mesmerising seascape. In addition, the absence of crowds ensures visitors can enjoy pure tranquillity. SMB is the perfect spot for a moment of repose. The best part of this outdoor treat is its accessibility as it runs parallel to West Bay Road.
