Camana Bay is a lively waterfront town offering plenty of entertainment options featuring restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, shops, and a movie theatre. Take the time to visit the 75-foot tall observation tower to enjoy beautiful views across the north sound and ocean. Kids love to splash in the various fountain playgrounds. It’s also home to international businesses and schools, and residents of the condos overlooking the harbour. Every Wednesday, there is a weekly farmers and artisans market. Boat tours set sail from the docks, and there’s even a heli-pad.
Cayman Brac is home to Cayman’s oldest museum which is situated in the capital, Stake Bay. The charming building which houses the museum plays its own part in the history of the Island. Visitors will experience a unique insight into the history and development of both Cayman Brac and Little Cayman through a selection of exhibits, showcasing a range of artifacts, some of which date back over a thousand years. The Museum is open from 9am to 12noon reopening 1pm to 4pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 12noon on Saturdays.
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine walking along a stretch of powdery, white sand fringed with clear, aquamarine blue water, lapping gently against the shore. Feel the warmth of the setting sun that paints the sky with shades of blue, pink, and gold. What’s terrific about this idyllic scene is that it’s real. Cayman’s Seven Mile Beach offers visitors a mesmerising seascape. In addition, the absence of crowds ensures visitors can enjoy pure tranquillity. SMB is the perfect spot for a moment of repose. The best part of this outdoor treat is its accessibility as it runs parallel to West Bay Road.
