Located in West Bay, on the northwest point of the island, Macabuca is Cayman’s premier oceanfront tiki bar boasting uninterrupted spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. The Macabuca menu is extensive! Appetisers range from coconut shrimp, calamari to vegan coconut ceviche. There is an impressive selection of conch dishes, including white conch chowder, breaded cracked conch, conch fritters and conch ceviche. There are salads, tacos, wraps, burgers, paninis and sandwiches, pasta and Mum’s fish and chips. For a true taste of Cayman, try their smoked jerk pork rib, Macabuca jerk chicken or fish and conch rundown. No one should leave Macabuca without eating one of the restaurant’s notorious homemade ice cream sandwiches. Monday night is “BBQ Monday”, featuring all you can eat BBQ from 5.30pm until 10pm. Fridays are quite simply Fish “Fry Days”, and on Sundays, Macabuca is a popular meeting place for family and friends as Sunday brunch is served from 11am until 3pm.

Camana Bay is a lively waterfront town offering plenty of entertainment options featuring restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, shops, and a movie theatre. Take the time to visit the 75-foot tall observation tower to enjoy beautiful views across the north sound and ocean. Kids love to splash in the various fountain playgrounds. It’s also home to international businesses and schools, and residents of the condos overlooking the harbour. Every Wednesday, there is a weekly farmers and artisans market. Boat tours set sail from the docks, and there’s even a heli-pad.
