CAMANA BAY
Camana Bay is a lively waterfront town offering plenty of entertainment options featuring restaurants, cafes, bars, boutiques, shops, and a movie theatre. Take the time to visit the 75-foot tall observation tower to enjoy beautiful views across the north sound and ocean. Kids love to splash in the various fountain playgrounds. It’s also home to international businesses and schools, and residents of the condos overlooking the harbour. Every Wednesday, there is a weekly farmers and artisans market. Cayman Turtle Centre is one of the Cayman Islands' top tourist attractions and a fun place for all the family to visit The facility is split into four main sections: ‘Turtle Encounters’, ‘Wild Caribbean’, ‘Aquatic Adventures’ and ‘Nature & Culture’. Turtle encounters includes close-up interaction with green sea turtles, along with educational information and experiences about the history and importance of these special creatures. Guests can also choose from several exciting activities including swimming or snorkelling in a saltwater lagoon, nature trail walks, and a free-flight aviary filled with colourful, exotic birds. Visitors to the centre will be supporting the preservation of green sea turtles which call the waters around the Cayman Islands their home.
