Lauren’s in Buckingham Square is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel right at home as soon as you enter.
As one of the owners, Lauren is always present to greet and serve each guest, making sure everyone is enjoying their experience. The ambiance inside is cozy with cushioned booths and tables scattered throughout, while their concealed outdoor deck is spacious and inviting with cool blue tones.
As a participant in this year’s Restaurant Month, they are offering lunch and dinner menus to showcase some of their most popular dishes, including the Chicken Risotto and Caesar Salad. The menus will draw you in with their tasty descriptions, but once you take into account that their chef makes so many items from scratch, including their breads, pastas and sauces, you’ll be sold.
The homemade components within each dish make a world of difference with every bite, as you can taste the airiness of the bruschetta’s crostini, the creaminess of the Caesar dressing and the butteriness of their mashed potatoes. The lunch menu is just CI$20 for a starter, main and non-alcoholic beverage, whilst their dinner menu is CI$35 for a starter and main with a glass of red or white wine.
The portions are large, so you are guaranteed to leave satisfied and with a smile.
Lauren’s is Island Epicurean’s pick of the week because even though they are small in size, they clearly put a lot of love into everything they do.
