They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. When you are not in the mood to make breakfast at home, venture out to one of these restaurants for a perfect meal to start your day. Here are the best restaurants in the Cayman Islands to get a delicious breakfast.

Den at The Marriott Cayman

Den at the Marriot Cayman offers simple grab and go breakfast each day from 7am to 4pm. Diners can get pastries and baked goods such as butter croissants and muffins or choose breakfast classics like pancakes, avocado toast, ham and cheese omelet or eggs benedict. On the weekends, patrons of the Den can have breakfast from 7am to 11am. The weekend menu includes omelets, French toast, Cayman hash and eggs, vegetable frittata, breakfast quesadilla and pancakes. You can add a beverage to your breakfast, including hot tea, espresso, fresh orange juice, tomato juice, hot chocolate or bottled water.

Cimboco Cayman

The Cimboco Cayman breakfast menu has a wide selection of tasty foods to start your day right. Some delicious choices include the Island Style ackee and saltfish with chunky tomatoes, onions and bell peppers with scotch bonnet pepper served with herb roasted potatoes, fried plantain and toast. Try the Cimboco High Performance Breakfast with 8oz pork chops accompanied by two eggs over easy, sauteed mushrooms and roasted rosemary potatoes.

The restaurant is open for breakfast Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 11am, and on Saturday and Sunday and holidays, they serve breakfast from 7am to 3pm.

Eats Cayman

At Eats Cayman, diners can enjoy big breakfast combos such as the Rise and Shine Combo with two eggs styled any way you like with your choice of ham, bacon or sausage, home fries and toast. This delightful combo is served all day long with your choice of coffee, tea or juice. There is a wide variety to choose from, you can get your choice of pancakes, omelets, and waffles. 

Conveniently located on West Bay Road, the restaurant opens at 6.30am daily to welcome people for breakfast. Eat breakfast, then walk across the road to the beach!

Fidel Murphy’s Cayman

Fidel Murphy’s Cayman serves up an all-day breakfast menu that is sure to make you happy. Try the restaurant’s signature dish, the Fidel Bog Breakfast with pork sausage, bacon, two eggs however you like them, beans, black and white pudding, Irish soda bread and breakfast potatoes.

The restaurant opens daily from 10am until 10pm.

The Waterfront Cayman

The Waterfront is the perfect place for a tasty breakfast on the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, the restaurant opens at 9am for the breakfast crowd. The all-day breakfast options include options such as the WF Fry-up with two eggs any way you like them, black bacon, sausage, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, breakfast potatoes and toast. You can try the breakfast bowl with brown rice, pesto, avocado, kale, red peppers, feta cheese and two poached eggs.

After breakfast, take a stroll around Camana Bay to work off the calories!

Waffle Monkey Cayman

Do you enjoy waffles? If you answered yes, then head out to Waffle Monkey Cayman for breakfast tomorrow. With a dozen waffle options to choose from, you will be happy you visited. You can even try the signature Waffle Monkey breakfast with a homemade Belgian waffle topped with powdered sugar, banana, local honey and coconut.

The waffles can be made gluten-free or vegan, all you need to do is ask. The restaurant is open every day from 7am to 5pm. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant.
